I was really frustrated by the staff's attitude. They came into the room without permission to check things while guests were staying there, and management was just as poor in how they treated guests. They came by 4-5 times in one afternoon. What about our privacy? I'd give zero stars if I could.

It's okay overall, but the food needs work.

The grounds are spacious and airy, with a large lotus lake that's especially beautiful and fragrant in summer. The room was small but clean. There are lots of swimming pools, and I enjoyed biking around in the morning. The restaurant was noisy and service a bit slow, though. Good value for money.

The trip from Hanoi takes about two hours, and it's easy to find. The views are good and it's a nice place to cycle around. But service was terrible, especially at the restaurant and for drinks. We visited on a quiet day, yet everything took longer than you could imagine. You should expect only edible food here. They served boiled chicken without lime leaves or seasoning, and we brought uncooked dishes and took them back. The employees were unprofessional, mostly high school kids who talked back when customers complained. Every dish on the menu seemed to be unavailable or out of stock. The coffee shops had nothing you could order, and it took 30 minutes just to get a drink. The breakfast buffet wasn't great either, and reception forgot to give us a ticket, so we had to wait. The 6D movie theater and kids' playground were marked as under maintenance, which really meant there was nobody to operate them. The night market had been replaced because the land was converted into a shophouse. I understand the land and houses bring in more revenue, but who will spend on your services if you sell properties without other activities to attract them? I wouldn't recommend this place to any of my friends.
