Green Oasis Hotel

The beach is only about 100 metres from the surf line, and while the hotel is a short way outside the town centre, it's still well positioned. It's a new hotel, very clean, and the rooms are quiet. Staff are friendly and can help arrange a motorbike rental. You get a better price booking online than directly with the hotel. Breakfast isn't great, but there's enough for the overall price. Hot water can take up to 5 minutes of running the shower. The price matches the quality, and I hope they keep the place looking good and maintain it properly, since that would make it good value for money into the future. I would stay again.

It's a nice location, the staff are kind, and it's super cheap. A heads-up for westerners: nobody on staff speaks even basic English, so expect long Google Translate conversations. Breakfast is Vietnamese-style only, with no usual continental options. The hot shower can be tricky too. It usually starts working after a while, but on some days the water stays cold. ;)

The lobby is lovely, and being near the beach was nice. Our shower was especially good for a tall guy like me, the bed was comfortable, and the AC was cold. The rooms are nice, though ours smelled pretty rough. Breakfast wasn't vegetarian-friendly at all, so my girlfriend and I only had eggs and white bread. Some fruit would've gone a long way. One last thing, nobody here spoke any English. Tây be warned.

The receptionist's behavior was not adequate. I came with my family and we looked at two rooms before choosing one. The manager asked to see our documents, so we showed our passports and resident cards, but for some reason she wasn't satisfied even though everything was in order. She refused to check us in and suggested another hotel farther away and more expensive. When we asked her to call the hotel director, she said he was very busy. I don't recommend this hotel for a vacation. That kind of service spoiled our mood, and made us not want to be in a city like this.
