The beach across the road was my favourite part of staying at Amoa resort. There’s access to the water and a veranda where you can sit or jump in, and I even spotted turtles in the clear blue sea. The pool was great too, and the staff were lovely. Food was delicious with plenty of breakfast choices, though the prices felt high. This was my second visit, after first coming with my family in 2023. We had five adults in a family room with a king and two single beds and were comfortable, so I returned in November 2025. The double rooms this time were also comfortable and roomy enough for four, though I’d like to see a larger TV. I did have to air out my room several times because it smelled of smoke. When I told the front desk, they offered air freshener, but I didn’t use it because I didn’t want two strong smells in the room. They were renovating while I was there, and the noise was a lot on days I wanted to sleep in.

The beds were so comfortable, which mattered most to me, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and had lots of storage and places to lounge. We loved the pool and will miss swimming there. The staff were genuinely kind and wonderful throughout our week. Breakfast started out amazing, but after the buffet began a couple of days in, we felt the food lacked freshness and flavor. I ended up ordering from the menu instead. The restaurant is well worth visiting, with a lively atmosphere. I also couldn’t resist picking up some locally made clothes and jewellery from the gift shop. It’s one of the prettiest resorts I’ve stayed in, and I’d love to have a family reunion there. We heard about future upgrades, including a conference room and new rooms, and hope to see them on a return visit. Thank you, Amoa 💙

My first trip to Savai’i was one I’ll never forget: my partner proposed to me there 🤍🥹 We stayed at Amoa on the 19th last week. From the moment we arrived, the kindness and warm welcome made us feel cared for. We’re a very young couple, and it meant a lot that everyone treated us with respect and warmth, looking past our age. I love being around nature, and the resort’s peaceful, refreshing setting was just right. Everything was hygienic and clean, which made the stay relaxing and comfortable. Such kind people and a beautiful place. We can’t wait to come back 🤍✨

The rooms were clean and really cosy, and the staff were attentive and amazing. A clothes horse for drying things and a microwave or toaster for snacks would be useful. I had a lovely stay and can’t wait to return.

The lagoon right across from us was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the staff entertainment, including their Siva Samoa. The rooms were kept tidy and the food was great, which made for a really enjoyable stay. The staff were the best part. They greeted us with smiles and did their best to make us feel welcome. A special thanks to Josevata, such a friendly guy. Bula brother. I hope the owners acknowledge the staff if they come across this review.
