Each traditional-style Fale has a view of the water, so nobody misses out. I loved the rafters inside, which made the roof look like the inside of an upside-down boat. It really is a slice of paradise on a sandy beach. The resort is small, clean, quaint, and picturesque, with a cosy feel for anyone wanting a bit of privacy. I also enjoyed the lounge, where a bookcase holds at least 500 books, mostly fiction, and makes for a nice place to read. The coconut jam class and koko, Samoa class were worth doing, especially for the tasting. My family enjoyed the 'Ava.' session about 'Kava.', including the strange facial feelings after the drink. Snorkeling and the snorkeling tour were great, too. The complimentary 'vai tipolo.' is a hit with guests.

The views were like postcards, and we often watched the moon disappear as daylight came. Waking to the sound of the sea was so beautiful. The kitchen was already bustling from 4am ahead of opening at 7am. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, though the decor is dated and dark. The lovely rafter details made up for that. The shower started blocking up, probably from the long hair of us three ladies, but someone was always ready to sort it out. Our rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced. Matai'a and the staff gave us great service, and Fa'aiuga was so welcoming and smiley. We loved chatting with her. We tried to order lobster for a couple of days, but the tides and weather got in the way. Before we left, Matai'a and the staff went out themselves to find some for us, and it was beautiful. Thank you, Le lagoto Resort, for looking after us so well. God bless!

We came for a day excursion. The Fale looked lovely, and the grounds were very clean and tidy, quiet and peaceful. The beach was good for swimming, with deck chairs and umbrellas, and we could park off the road. The young waiter was lovely and gave great service. The food was delicious, with a good range of drinks.

We only stayed one night at Le Lagoto Resort and Spa, but had an amazing time. Fandy gave us a warm welcome at reception with a delicious drink, showed us to our rooms, and arranged a deep tissue massage for me at the spa. The bungalows worked really well for our group of 10, just a step from the beautiful ocean. Dinner was excellent, and our server Matau'tia was a lovely gentleman. Apologies if I’ve got his name wrong. The fresh lemonade was a favorite, and we finished with a really nice complimentary breakfast. We’d definitely come back.

We came back for a second stay, and it still doesn’t disappoint. It’s the kind of peaceful place where you can relax and live in the moment, forgetting about everyday life. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable, and air conditioning is there for warmer nights. We slept with the windows open, enjoying the coastal breeze and sound of the ocean. The crystal-clear water was wonderful for snorkelling, and we were lucky to spot a couple of turtles. We remembered Seti from our first visit in 2019 and were excited to see him again. His genuine care and attention make a stay feel special and keep bringing us back. Thanks to all the staff for the wonderful service. We’ll return again and again.
