The spa, especially the sauna, was a lovely part of my stay, and the food was delicious. My room was cleaned perfectly. Adriatik and Halit? were especially patient and kind, and everyone was friendly. I really enjoyed the hospitality and service.

I found the restaurant staff very attentive, and the menu was good. The rooms are spacious, though some of the furniture is a little old. Breakfast was quite adequate. It’s the best hotel to stay in Gilan.

The bathrooms weren’t nice, and the shower was extremely slippery, which felt unsafe. Service wasn’t great either, nowhere near what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. What bothered me most was the cigarette smoke. There are No Smoking signs around the hotel and restaurant, but guests are still allowed to smoke indoors. The smell was disgusting, made it hard to enjoy a meal, and left my clothes stinking when I walked out. I don’t know how this place got five stars. Don’t stay here.

I spent 11 days at Astoria, and work was stressful. The warm smiles from the front desk and restaurant staff always helped me feel at home. Adriatik deserves a special mention. He’s sharp, witty, responsive, and a real gem.

Tiki at reception was really friendly and helped me a lot. The swimming pool, restaurant, and breakfast were all superb. Wonderful hotel, much appreciated, and I recommend it.
