Hotel Prishtina

The people at Hotel Prishtina made our stay feel like being welcomed into a family. Before we arrived, staff kept in touch quickly by message and even phone, helping us feel informed and safe. When we got stuck at the bus station, they stayed on the phone until they knew we were in a taxi, then the whole group seemed to be waiting at the desk for us. That first welcome meant a lot. We were treated like their own, even though we're usually pretty simple people. Everything inside felt fresh and clean, from the floors and suite to the pool areas. The bar and restaurant staff welcomed us like we were in their own kitchen. Breakfast had a seemingly endless choice of food and drinks, and the area looked lovely each morning. Ibrahim and his team were always ready to greet us warmly. We were glad to meet everyone who looked after us and welcomed us back each time we went out: Besa, Bledonna, Hannah, Ifdaal, and the very cheerful Ulik on the overnight shift. His pleasant colleagues saw us off to the airport at 1:30 am on our last night. There were so many staff we may have missed some names. A special thanks to the room attendants, who were working hard early even on Eid day. The location worked well for us, though it's not right by Mother Teresa promenade, where much of the action is. It's an easy, comfortable 20-minute walk to the promenade and the old town with its beautiful mosques. Prishtina can feel busy, but it has a relaxed cafe scene, museums, libraries, and lots of restaurants. We found the really good food was affordable and cash only, so we used Google to find places. Money exchanges are common, and Western Union was preferable. The city felt like a very credit card society otherwise. There are plenty of buses all day, and you can rent a car or get to Prizren for the day for as little as 5 euros one way, as well as visit nearby towns. Don't let the bustle put you off. The breakfast had a nice mix of traditional and continental choices, and Ibrahim and the reception team were especially friendly and professional. We stayed for four days and found the location great. The rooms and facilities were clean and well looked after. One of the best hotels in Prishtine.

The breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean. The staff were welcoming and kind. I'd recommend Hotel Prishtina to anyone.

The staff were really friendly, and the breakfast was great. I like dry meat, so that's all I took photos of at breakfast :) The rooms were clean and nice, and the spa and indoor pool were beautiful. Good location too, about a 7-minute walk to the center.
