Driza's Family House - Quiet and Chill HOSTEL with 2 Pets around

Driza’s was one of the cleanest hostels I’ve come across after staying in lots of them. It feels like home, right down to the friendly cat and dog, and the staff helped me see all the great things in prizren. The new mattresses are really comfortable, and every bed has a curtain and lamp. They’ve thought of pretty much everything you’d want in a hostel. Highly recommend!

The hosts made the hostel feel more like staying with family. The dorm was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the bathrooms were in good shape too. Breakfast came with the room and was fresh, tasty, and enough for me each day. We did have one power outage, but that can happen anywhere. I was there for a few days on my first trip to Kosovo in 2017, and I’d return without hesitation. The kitten, T-Rex, was a lovely bonus, so much fun to play and cuddle with.

Finding the place was easy because they sent a video with directions before I arrived, and the location is handy, right in the center. The hosts were lovely and helpful, and I liked that they have a dog and cat. Inside, shoes come off, and the bathrooms are kept clean, with slippers and shampoo provided. There’s a keypad on the front door and padlocks for the lockers. Breakfast is simple, and coffee and tea are available all day. The bunks were comfortable and had privacy curtains. I loved staying here!

If you’re coming to Prizren, make time for Driza's House. The owners are lovely, and they pointed me to a really good byrek place across the stone bridge. I skipped breakfast so I could stay in bed, so I can’t say what it’s like. The beds are wider than usual, with an amazing mattress, and the curtains give each one a nice little private nook. There’s a socket at every bed, so no one has to compete for a place to charge their phone.
