Lea’s communication was clear, friendly and professional from the start, and she went out of her way to help us feel welcome and looked after. Her service made a real difference to our memorable stay at Inyoni Rocks, and we’ll definitely return because of her kindness and dedication. She’s a real asset and deserves recognition. The other lady at the front desk came across as a bit unprofessional, and the interaction wasn’t as pleasant. Even so, Lea’s helpful attitude carried our experience. I visited family who were holidaying there. The facilities seemed well kept, and the units looked nice. There’s plenty of room for kids to play and run around.

A bit of planning helps since it’s self-catering, though there are lots of shops and malls nearby if you run short of anything. Amanzimtoti Beach is an easy short walk away, and the beachfront setting gives you stunning views. The pool and braai facilities are great too. Inyoni Rocks Cabana isn’t especially glamorous, but it has a warm, homey feel that makes it easy to relax and switch off. A lovely choice for a low-key, laid-back family getaway.

The location was good, and the host caused us no problems. We only saw them at check-in and check-out. The furniture and bedding are outdated, and the place wasn’t very clean, though it wasn’t terrible either. It’s okay if you’re just coming and going, but not so good for spending time indoors.
