It looks beautiful, but the service was poor and the owner was horrible. The staff seem scared of him and act like puppets. The snacks in the pictures were R1 popcorn for kids. We were made to review the place before getting food, and they would only give food if we left good reviews. The TV didn’t work, and the water was cold.

My wife and I had another amazing night there. The food was fresh and really tasty, and everyone was polite, friendly and very helpful. The kettle kept tripping the plugs, but they sorted it out straight away. One small idea for the dining area: some music, radio or background news would be nice. We’ll be back soon. Thank you.

Management wasn’t flexible during our stay. We had elderly people with us who were put on the first floor, even though there were ground-floor rooms that could have made their stay easier. We also felt poorly treated by senior management. The place is poorly managed. I’d recommend it to carefree guests who can tolerate a low standard.

The owner made us feel so at ease it was almost like being at home. The rooms were very neat and clean, and the staff were amazing. They have a range of services, including room service, dinner and laundry. We’ll definitely support them again in future.

The garden is spectacular if you love greenery and immaculate grounds. The rooms are comfortable and have the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. I think the kitchen should be available for self-catering, with their own service as a backup. We had a great stay.
