Avoid Bedrock Accommodation! We paid a premium for a horrible experience. We arrived after booking a room and found there were none available. The rooms we were given were uninhabitable, with no ventilation, broken appliances and cockroaches. It wasn’t worth it. 😤

The rooms are nicely kept and clean, with affordable options to choose from. It’s right in the middle of town, and I’d recommend giving it a try for a weekend stay.

The place was dark and dingy, and nothing like what was advertised. We had booked and paid, but refused to stay. I have no idea where the photos on the site came from. I wouldn’t recommend it, and it wasn’t even worth one star.

For a rustic, no-frills backpackers, the price is excellent and the ablutions were clean and usable. Still, the showers could use some TLC, especially the tiles, and there wasn’t a mat in front of the shower.

The photos online are extremely misleading. It isn’t on the beachfront as they show, and there was no internet or Wi-Fi. I called multiple times about the Wi-Fi, but staff didn’t check back to see whether anything had been sorted. It’s a dump and not worth the money. Probably the worst place I’ve stayed in Cape Town. DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE unless you want to stay in a dump.
