The two-night stay went really well, and my family thoroughly enjoyed their first time here, though I've stayed before. Lily always goes out of her way to make things special. She even offered a cot for our two-year-old daughter. Alex, you've got a gem in her. Thanks to everyone at Brightwater Lodge.

Mama Lily is a superstar, and Alex is a wonderfully friendly host. I had a fantastic time and was well looked after. The food they made was hearty and delicious. It's within walking distance of the beach and shops. I definitely recommend this gem in Houtbay, and I'll be back soon with my family. Keep it up, Alex!

The rooms are spotless and have good-quality furnishings, and both the owner and manageress are friendly and helpful. It's a conveniently located b&b, a short walk from the beach with several restaurants nearby. I'll choose it again. Margaret.

We stayed in the apartment and found it clean, well equipped, and roomy, with a big balcony. The beach and harbour are just a few minutes' walk away, and there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. A really good place to stay in Hout Bay.
