Charmaine Santos made the stay at Carmel Huys feel like a home away from home. She was attentive and caring, always helpful without getting in the way, and her warmth and eye for detail turned a good visit into a great one. The guest house isn't ultra-modern, but it's immaculately clean and very well maintained. It's just off the beach and shops are within walking distance, which suited me perfectly on my recent trip to Cape Town. Highly recommended.

Charmaine is a fantastic hostess and always willing to help. I felt at home right away, and there was plenty of space to sort myself out for meals. The beach is such a short walk away, and that's the cherry on top.
