The service from the owners is outstanding, and the breakfast is one of the few that actually includes eggs, with a full English breakfast available too. The room and shower are small but work well, and the street noise was bearable. There’s private parking and the beachy is just a one-minute walk away. In ordinary circumstances I’d probably give four stars, but the owners and service made the difference.

We had room to play games and debrief in the common areas, and the staff made our stay especially memorable. Meg and the team were attentive, friendly and interested in both us and our reason for visiting. Our group of ten came from the USA to volunteer with a local non profit, and The Muize was an ideal home base. It’s easy to walk to the beach or into Muizenberg, with great views around. The rooms were comfortable and well serviced, and breakfast had plenty of fresh and cooked choices. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

A lovely couple runs this cozy BnB and clearly wants guests to feel comfortable. It’s perfectly placed, just a stone’s throw from the beaches and restaurant strip. I absolutely loved staying here.

The room was comfortable, clean and nicely prepared, just right for unwinding after a day out. From arrival, the welcome felt warm and genuine, and the service stayed friendly, attentive and professional throughout. I left feeling refreshed and well cared for. I’d highly recommend The Muize Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting the area.

The accommodations are simple but comfortable, and the location and service are hard to beat. You get a bit of privacy and quiet just outside the heart of Muizenberg, while the beach, hikes, restaurants and other attractions are only a couple of minutes away on foot.
