The house is beautiful, but our stay was far from great. We had booked the entire place for three days around our wedding at ON THE ROCKS, a stunning restaurant, and it cost us a fortune. When we arrived, the housekeepers were still cleaning. They left three hours later, and we had to step over their linen and cleaning equipment. The house hadn’t been cleaned properly. On our last day we were meant to leave by 12pm, but at 9.30am the pool service person came through the front door without warning. He was rude and confrontational, made the guests get out of the pool, and nearly hit my husband. This was our honeymoon morning, and it spoiled our stay. The owner didn’t apologize at all. They’d overbooked and had people arriving at 12pm, so we had to leave. 😢

The house is magnificent, clean, well stocked, and so relaxing. You get ocean views and the beach is just a two-minute walk away. The owner is incredibly polite and accommodating. This is our spot, and every time we return to SA, we’ll stay here.

The space and views are out of this world, and the beachhouse itself is beautiful. It has everything you need. Our host Lynette was kind and replied quickly whenever we had a question. It stole our hearts!

You’re right beside the beach, with lots of restaurants nearby, and the location is perfect. We’d heard a lot about crime in Cape Town, but this area felt very quiet and secure. The host is absolutely friendly, and I recommend giving it a try.
