Ondini Guest House

Sitting on the patio and taking in the mountain scenery and quiet was one of my favourite parts. The meals are divine, and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. Management and staff made my husband's birthday on the 20th of October really special, with a set dinner table, champagne, flowers and chocolate in the room. This was my fifth visit, and I enjoyed every minute. It feels like home, and it's still my favourite place to go. Thanks for such a lovely stay, and I hope the hotel keeps going from strength to strength.

We spent five days here and I'd love to return. The hotel has a lot of elegance and charm, and the staff are all friendly and work hard to make the stay enjoyable. There are guided walks each day, as well as other activities for kids. 10/10.

We were there for five nights with the family, staying in a chalet with lovely mountain views and plenty of room. It was well equipped and had a cozy fireplace. The hikes, birding, chess, tennis, pickle ball and table tennis kept us busy. For a longer self-catering stay, a dishwasher would have helped, even though the cleaning staff serviced the unit efficiently each day. The tennis courts are still usable, but need resurfacing soon if they're to last. It's a lovely place to play, with the mountain in view and horses often nearby.

The food had so much choice and was excellent, and the staff were warm and professional. We loved the luxury rooms, the neatly kept gardens and the pool. The location beneath Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle is stunning. We were enchanted and will certainly return, next time for longer.
