We mostly got around on foot, and the car was parked safely. The house is lovely, with spacious, clean rooms and everything we needed. Its location is great, just a stone's throw from things. I especially enjoyed morning tea on the deck, looking out at the view. Karl was helpful throughout our weekend stay.

The deck and its views were the standout for me. It's a great place to sit with wine or have a braai, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook indoors too. Inside, the rooms are roomy and comfortable for unwinding after a day out. The property is conveniently placed near what you need, while still feeling peaceful. Everything seemed considered for a comfortable stay. I had a wonderful time, and would happily recommend it.

We spent most of our time on the terrace by the braai, playing cards, having drinks, and enjoying family time. The rooms are spacious and easily work for family or friends. 727 on Church is in a fantastic spot, and I can't wait to return.

The setting was serene, with lovely hiking trails and shops and restaurants right nearby. The house itself is exquisite, and our host Karel was lovely. We had a beautiful stay overall, though the two ladies who helped us on the third and fourth days had a somewhat unacceptable attitude. The host should keep a closer eye on the housekeepers.

We had six people in the house and found it a great rental, with a big garden for the dogs. It's pet friendly, too. The house is well equipped and pleasantly close to central Clarens. There are three bedrooms, all opening onto the deck. Outside, the covered braai area has a sunny table and chairs, and inside there's a great fireplace with enough wood for late-night fires, if you're still up 😅.
