A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "The Gables" is located in Clarens. This hotel is located in the city center. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window.

We had a blast, and the kids did too. Thanks, Sharon, for everything! We booked the Gables for the beer fest and were so pleased with the beautiful property. We’ll probably come back next year.

The Maluti Mountains look incredible by day, and at night the sky was wonderfully clear and full of stars. The property is stunning, and the hosts were so warm and gave us great ideas for activities and places to eat. It’s just a two to three minute walk from Clarens town centre, which made it a perfect spot for a short stay in this beautiful part of the country.

Sharon welcomed us with wine and cookies in the unit, a lovely touch. We stayed in Gables Classique for three nights and had a splendid time. The place was neat, spacious and had all the amenities. The balcony view is spectacular, and being able to walk to restaurants and shops made exploring much easier. We’d love to come back when we’re next visiting Clarens.

The loft is a clever little space with everything we needed for a short stay, plus the niceties of home. It may not suit very tall people, but the garden, braai and pool, along with being close to Clarens central, more than make up for the limited space. Sharon greeted us with baked goods and sherry. The linen and towels were good quality, and there was aircon, a bathroom heater, fast Internet and plenty of TV options.

Johan and Sheron made us feel very welcome, thank you both for your hospitality. We had a really pleasant stay. The place was clean, spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed to feel at home away from home.
