It was quiet and peaceful, with a nice big yard, and the pool is large and lovely. Unfortunately it was green and dirty while we were there, so we couldn't use it. The room felt smaller than it looked in the online pictures. The stay was okay, and breakfast was alright, about a 6/10. Also, the guest house is called Flowithin, not hamelin.

The view over Durban was amazing, and it was nice and quiet. I was here on a business trip, and the staff were very helpful, even arranging breakfast and dinner at times that worked for me. Thanks for making me feel welcome and accommodating what I needed. I'd recommend it if you want a place to unwind.

Jackie and Kevin made sure our couple of days went so well, and I'm really grateful for their hospitality. The staff were attentive and friendly, ready to help while still giving us room to relax. Breakfast was consistently delicious, and the coffee machine made great coffee. Such a lovely place to stay.

We came all the way from the USA and got a fantastic local experience here. The food was great, the company was lovely, and the views of the city against the ocean felt really unique. The location worked perfectly for us. Can't wait to come back.

The owners are lovely, the rooms are great, and breakfast was awesome. My four stars are because the balcony view looks out over the shunting yard and harbour, which is quite industrial, and it can get noisy for light sleepers. The location is convenient, with the beach and restaurants just a short drive away and Durban's southern industrial areas easy to reach.
