Sommersby

Breakfast was enjoyable, and the kitchen was very clean. There’s a lovely garden and a friendly, calm dog on the property. The staff were lovely, and the price was reasonable. It’s across from a shopping centre and within walking distance of busy Florida Road. Lucas was hands-on, amazing, and helpful, while Chris was quick to respond and helpful over the phone. The rooms were clean and spacious enough, with private bathrooms. We got our own key and remote on arrival, along with an explanation of the rules and WiFi. Parking is available, though limited. We had a very pleasant stay.

For a one-night layover with three adults, the family room was lovely and the air conditioning kept it cool. We had a small private patio with a table and chairs outside. The guesthouse is small, so when it’s full you’ll cross paths with other guests. Parking can be tricky with several cars, and takes a lot of careful maneuvering. The location is great, with a mall across the road and Florida street nearby. Jessica the owners dog is the sweetest border collie, and knows not to go into the rooms. Great value for the price and location ❤️

The mall right across the road made the location convenient, but I wasn't happy with the stay. The service, food, and room cleanliness all disappointed me, and for what I paid, it wasn't worth it. I won't be back.

The location is perfect, but the place needs attention and proper management. For somewhere rated 3 stars, the rooms weren't up to standard, the beds definitely weren't suitable, and the shower wasn't very clean.
