I paid a 50 percent deposit of ZAR 2000 and was to pay the other half on arrival. I got there around 6:30 pm, but the owner didn’t answer my calls. I waited outside the gate for maybe 10 minutes. After I entered the guest house, there were lots of mosquitoes, the cleanliness was poor, the room air conditioner didn’t work, and there wasn’t even a fan. I couldn’t open the windows because of the mosquitoes, and the staff were helpless. The owner didn’t want to speak with me. Before I paid, he’d spoken with me many times and seemed reliable and promising. In these conditions, no one could stay, but he didn’t want to refund my money. I’m adding pictures, videos and WhatsApp chat to show how the owner behaved. I totally don’t recommend staying here, even if the owner offered it for free. I left without a refund and booked somewhere else.

We found blood on the mattress, and the bathroom was filthy. The paint was peeling, the ceiling was broken, and the place was dirty overall. The rooms didn’t feel suitable for an overnight stay, more like short-stay “per hour” rooms. There was no security and we didn’t feel safe spending the night. When we asked for help, management blocked us instead. It was a terrible experience, and I’m formally requesting a full refund because we couldn’t stay in such unhygienic and unsafe conditions.

Everything was a mess. The place was very dirty, there was no TV, the fridge door was broken, and the blankets smelled. They don’t change the bed sheets in the morning 🤮

They never answer their phones, and communication is practically nonexistent. This guest house seems unreliable and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else for an easier stay.
