Macaron Guesthouse

We had a lovely welcome from the helpful staff, and found our room well equipped with amenities. To us, it really lived up to the “boutique” in its name. Breakfast was good too. Umbrellas were a thoughtful extra, since the weather wasn't great during our stay. It's a lovely guest house tucked off the Main Street in Franschoek, in a great location. Definitely feels like a place for couples.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was the cosiest guest house we've visited. Nadia, the manager, was so friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff were sweet and helpful too. The breakfast is among the best we've had. We loved everything about the Macaroon guest house and hope to return. Until then, we'll be recommending it to anyone who visits.

The surroundings and amenities are beautiful, and the service was completely flawless. Everyone here is so kind.

We stayed during the week and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Nadia and her staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The place is beautiful and peaceful, but still only a few minutes' walk from the high street. We'll definitely come back.
