Neighbourgood Franschhoek

The room was spacious and very clean, as were the bathroom and kitchenette. I especially liked the breakfast nook, and the staff member who checked us in was lovely and friendly. I found this place through Wikideals and was initially unsure, since photos don't always match the real place, but it worked out really well. Using the coupon was easy: I emailed about my preferred dates, Diego replied quickly and helpfully, and made sure my request reached the right people. Andisiwe promptly confirmed the booking and shared the check-in and check-out times. The service was excellent from booking through departure. I'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

We arrived early from Stellenbosch, and Felita kindly held our bags and brought them to the room once it was ready. The loft was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, with a super comfortable bed. We wished we could have stayed longer. It's a great place in Franschhoek, and we'd definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely visit.

The location is mint, and the accommodation matched the photos, but the place felt more cold and business-minded than personal. The floors seemed a bit dirty, perhaps because of the vinyl, and there was a massive clump of hair on top of the shower drain. The duvet had some dark, black stains, though I don't know what they were. The bed was very wide but short, and even at 1.65m my feet hung off. The host was slow to respond, and although a cot had been confirmed for our baby, none was provided. For the price, I'd call the accommodation fine, not great or bad.

On arrival, no one from the establishment was there, so I had to call before someone eventually came to show us to the room. No one explained how anything worked, and the bedside lights weren't charged. I also wasn't told in advance that I'd need my own passwords to use any of the TV channels. I'd rather pay a little more for a room where the TV simply works, as it does in most accommodation places.
