Our family of four stayed here before going cage diving with sharks in the morning, and it worked perfectly for an overnight stay. The room had a spectacular view, and the staff were so friendly. They helped with our laundry, made a restaurant reservation and even offered us a shower after the dive, although we’d already checked out. Stellar hospitality. Thanks, Marius and team.

Nicole and her husband were amazing hosts, paying attention to all the details. Their warmth, along with the helpful, friendly staff, made the stay unforgettable. Thanks to Nicole and the team for making it such a WOW experience! The rooms are spacious and modern, with exceptionally large, clean and comfortable bathrooms that have both a bath and shower. The location is ideal too, less than a 5‑minute walk from the beach, with a convenience shop nearby for small things or drinks. White Sharks Guest would be a great choice for solo travelers, families or groups of friends.

Marius and Nicola were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They were hands on, and their high standards made our stay perfect. They even tuned our bedroom TV so we could watch the Australian Open Tennis. The guest house has great facilities, parking, a guest lounge, a spacious bedroom and breakfast. It’s a five-minute walk from the marina for the sharks. Gaansbai is the best place for whale watching, and White Shark Guest House is a jewel. We couldn’t have asked for more, and it’s the only place we’ll stay on our next trip to Gaansbai. Thank you.

We booked at the last minute since we had two trips in Gansbaai and it made sense to stay overnight. The family cottage was clean and spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, garden space and hot tub. The owners popped in to help get the hot tub started, which was quick, and they were both awesome. We only wish we’d stayed longer. Thanks for having us. X

There’s a little shop and a nice restaurant just a few metres away, and all the shark companies are only about a four-minute walk from the house. We booked a cage dive for our last day and were able to take a hot shower afterward, even though checkout time had already passed. The check-in information beforehand was really good, and the in-person welcome was even better. You feel truly welcome here. We were lucky to have a nice little chat with the lovely owners too. Thanks again for a great stay ❤️🦈
