Cape Flame Guest House has become my home away from home. I grew up in Port Elizabeth, left in 1985, and still return every year, but only just found this gem. The whole process was seamless and well organized, from pre-booking through the booking and stay itself. A special thanks to Welma and Michelle for making us feel like family and for all the thoughtful attention to detail. Their hospitality was so warm. I highly recommend Cape Flame to international guests.

My family and I visited Cape Flame guest house on 26 December 2025. Wendy welcomed us, and what a friendly lady she is. Her colleagues were friendly too. Breakfast was on time and delicious. I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting summerstrand. Thank you again and again.

This is our preferred guest house when we visit PE. The rooms are amazing, and my favourite part is definitely the bathroom 😍. I had to head out very early one morning and couldn’t have breakfast there, so Wendy packed it for me to take on the road. That personal touch really counts, and it’s one reason I’ll definitely return and recommend this lovely place to friends and colleagues. Thanks for packing my breakfast, Wendy :) My room was amazing, clean, cozy, and had all the amenities. The staff were welcoming, professional, and friendly. It was an absolute delight staying there.
