The room had a good refrigerator, and the air conditioning helped warm it on a cold night. The rooms have been updated, including a fully renovated bathroom.

The bed linen was good and new, and the place seemed safe. Only local residents can park on the street since it's a dead end. There's a small pier right in front of the hotel, and plenty of people fish or kayak on the river. The facilities are simple but functional, with a minibar fridge, wardrobes, air conditioning, and a shower. I found the shower stall odd and uncomfortable: the drain sits in a fairly deep dip, so you have to balance there while bathing. The balcony isn't private, it's shared by all the rooms on that floor, and you can only reach the rooms by stairs. One thing I found unpleasant was the breakfast issue. We booked with breakfast, as shown in the reservation photo, but the owner said our room category didn't include it. I showed the booking we made through hotéis.com, but he still refused breakfast. I didn't press it because we were on holiday and staying just one night.
