There was no care or effort in the way the place was maintained or hosted. The building may have cost a lot, but making guests feel comfortable and welcome matters most. One garage door wasn't automatic, so when another guest needed to park, she had to get out in the rain to open it herself. No one was there to help. This place needs a lot of attention. It's sad to see a beautiful concept turn out this way. Our room didn't feel clean or welcoming. There were ants on the floor, dirty pillows, and cushions left outside in the rain with nobody bringing them in. Breakfast was disappointing too. Nobody asked what we eat, how we like our eggs, what toast we prefer, or whether we eat pork. Those little things make a difference. Everything was put on a plate under cling wrap on a tray and brought to our room, where there was no table or chairs to eat at. I understand the pandemic, but tables and chairs in the kitchen could have been sanitized and guests asked where they'd prefer to eat. The food we couldn't manage went to waste. We also got cappuccino sachets instead of a hot cappuccino. I think a guest house should at least offer good coffee.

It was so peaceful, and the views were to die for. We arrived late, but someone was available to help us. The place was very clean, and the breakfast was amazing. The owner and employees really want guests to enjoy their stay. There's also a nearby restaurant with welcoming owners, so everything felt in sync. Thanks for the great service. I hope other visitors enjoy it as much as my partner and I did.

What you see online is the complete opposite of what you get. We knocked for over 30 minutes before anyone let us in. When the lady finally arrived, she wasn't welcoming or interactive and made us feel as if we'd come to the wrong place. She showed us our room, which was very disappointing. Breakfast was a free for all: nobody asked what we preferred, and we had to make other plans even though breakfast was included in the price. I've never seen anything like it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxed, worry-free getaway. It's false advertising, and I wouldn't give it even one star.

The place looked clean and the staff were fairly nice, but the water was cold on Saturday and nobody told us. Staff member Thandi just implied we'd woken up late. The air conditioning wasn't working either. I wouldn't recommend the place.
