Hartbeespoortdam Lodge

Eleanor is such a darling, friendly and smiling all the time. My husband and I had a great time, the place is amazing, and we'll definitely visit again. The breakfast was top notch. 💕👌

The lake view is beautiful, and the place is quiet. I went on holiday with my partner and found everything nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was amazing, something I won't forget.

Breakfast in bed was one of our favorite parts, and we appreciated how flexible the owner was and how well we were accommodated, even when complications came up during our stay. I'll definitely come back. The rooms were spacious, cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully set up, with everything I needed. The bed was so comfortable I woke up rested, and details like the linens and calming feel made the room a sanctuary. The views were just as memorable. I kept stopping to take them in, from the soft light in the morning with coffee to the colorful sky at sunset. What made the stay special was the care from everyone. From check-in smiles to small thoughtful touches, the staff made me feel welcomed into a home, not just a hotel. Service was attentive and natural, and I didn't have to ask twice. They helped me settle in, offered recommendations, and checked that I was comfortable. The warm atmosphere, service, views, and rooms all came together into a stay I'd love to relive. I left feeling refreshed and cared for, with a full heart. I can't wait to return.

It was such a peaceful getaway with my partner. The room was neat and clean, and the lady who helped us went out of her way to accommodate us. I wish I'd got her name. The service was outstanding, and she was kind and helpful with everything. I'd highly recommend a visit to Cosmos Café for pizza while you're there. They'll deliver it right to you.
