For what they charge, they should fix this place. I’d give it zero stars if I could. The aircon didn’t work, and when I called the owner, they weren’t interested in fixing it and just lied. The booking.com ad says the room has a bathroom, but yours is across the hallway and you need a private key to get in. That’s ridiculous. The WiFi was extremely slow, so you couldn’t even watch TV. Upstairs at the braai area, where you go to smoke, there were paint cans that they said were ashtrays for putting out cigarettes. With no working aircon, we had to open the windows for a bit of air, and the bed was full of bugs. They gave us Raid to kill them. The staircase up to the braai was old and rusty, and the parking situation was just, I have no words. There’s no reception desk. The lady lives in a room in the garage, which I think is very wrong, because that’s what you see when you arrive. Still, she was sweet and tried to help. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and we’ll never come back.

Anna welcomed us warmly, but the stay was a letdown. There was no air conditioning, the Wi-Fi was painfully slow, and we couldn't watch TV. The bathroom taps gave us a shock, and the braai area was a mess with a broken braai. The pictures I received before booking had been edited. It needs major renovation, wasn't worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The place smelled awful, and the bed was so worn, hard, and uncomfortable that I couldn't wait to get home. The towels were dingy and rough, and there were drain spills. I'll never return. I'd rather pay a little extra to stay somewhere else. Very disappointing.

For R2600 for 2 nights in May, out of season, this was nowhere near worth the price, and I wouldn't recommend it. The property looked badly neglected, with water damage on the walls, a black mildew-covered ceiling, and a mildew smell in the room. The floor looked clean but was actually very dirty. There was no Wi-Fi signal to the Oppo router in the room, and although there was air conditioning, no remote was provided. I had to put the kettle on a dustbin to reach a plug, and the coffee and sugar had hardened. I'm very unhappy with the service.
