Terrence did his best to keep us comfortable and updated, and he's the reason we'd consider giving the place another try. Still, having no electricity was a major problem and made the stay disappointing and boring, especially after we'd travelled a long way.

The building needs serious maintenance. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home, and Terrance works hard, taking care of most things around the house.

The views were lovely, and the location was easy to find. Terrence, you were there for us throughout the stay. You're humble and know how to work with people. You're the best, my guy. I really enjoyed being there.

We returned to find our room still hadn't been cleaned. Indlovukazi guesthouse didn't look clean, and it wasn't clean at all like the pictures suggested. It really needs housekeeping.

The pictures give the wrong impression. We're in room 4 (kivu), and the place is dirty, with serious cracks. There's no window in the toilet, and the staffy smell in there is awful. The electricity has been cutting in and out for seconds at a time since last night. The TV in our room doesn't play, and their dstv is blocked, so you have to bring your own netflix credentials if you have them. I doubt this place is owned by a south african. The standard is very low, everything is bad. The basin won't close, the tap only gives hot water, and the shower is dirty. I didn't even try using it. Worst guest house I've been to in harties.
