The owners were welcoming and friendly, and shops are just 2.3km away. Finding the place was tricky, tucked behind the forest and flowing river. I got lost, but they welcomed me and redirected me. I wish there were bigger signs outside. Security is tight, and there was no loadshedding. I think they'll refurbish the place in time. It was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for family time or a friends' or colleagues' retreat. There's an outdoor braai area, and I enjoyed my 'me time' here. It really lets you tune in to yourself. Monkeys were running around, which scared me 🤣, but it was a beautiful sight, especially for someone from a noisy city. The birds sounded lovely, and the river stream was beautiful. When it rains, the serenity is even better. Lots of positives here.

Even a late-night check-in and early-morning departure were no trouble for the staff, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and I had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay in a clean, decent living space, conveniently located on the route to Kruger and Blyde River Canyon. Doctor was a gracious host and willing to go the extra mile for guests.

The owners were hands-on and very helpful, and it felt like a home away from home. Our cottage was spotless, with staff coming to clean it every day. The place was pleasant and relaxing, close to malls and Kruger National Park. During our week there, we also drove the panorama route.

Beware, this place is a scam! I was told I'd get a 50% refund if I cancelled before a certain date, but they charged me the full amount. The hotel doesn't respond to queries at all. Totally unprofessional!
