Chesham House is ideally placed between the ocean and town, and we really enjoyed our two days there. The shared areas felt homey, with breakfast cooked fresh to suit what we wanted. The bedrooms and en-suites had a more modern feel.

A little on the small side, the rooms were still comfortable, and the welcome was friendly.

We booked just one night and ran into a problem a few hours after arriving. Hannelie and her daughter were so kind and considerate, and they really helped us out. We’re grateful for their hospitality. The accommodation is quiet and lovely, close to central Hermanus, with everything you could need. Couldn’t recommend these incredible hosts more!

It was an enjoyable stay in a neat, peaceful place with convenient facilities. Breakfast was a nice chance to spend time in the hosts’ good company.

The location is excellent, close to the Cliff Path hiking trail. The rooms are adequate, and breakfast is simple but tasty.
