The views from the rooms are lovely, and the location makes it easy to reach scenic walking spots and other activities on foot. We also really enjoyed Hermanus, especially spotting whales nearby. When the weather isn't so nice, there's a wine route you can drive, with lovely tastings along the way. Our stay was very good. The room was tidy and had everything we needed, the beds were perfect and heated in winter, and breakfast was generous and tasty. There are spots to sit and play a game or have a drink, and both the owner and staff were kind and helpful.

The garden is lovely, and breakfast was delicious, clearly made with care. We had a large, very nice room, everything was clean, and the host was super friendly. We also got lots of great suggestions for activities and restaurants. Hermanus has plenty to do, so I'd recommend spending two nights to fit more of it in. We really enjoyed our stay at the Walker Bay Manor Mansion.

I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the garden, the coastal path and the wonderful service. Walker Bay Manor is a lovely little guest house in a gorgeous spot close to the coastal path. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great-quality sheets and linen. Breakfast was a delicious spread of fresh fruit, bread and cheese, plus a hot dish prepared fresh by the host.

We already felt at home, but breakfast in the beautiful garden made us want to move in! Marijke was there to welcome us and show us the gorgeous mountain-view room. It was spacious and cosy, with a breathtaking view, a very comfortable bed, and fresh flowers that felt like a thoughtful personal touch. Marijke also gave us excellent tips for dinner reservations, beautiful walks and successful shopping. We fell in love with Walker Bay Manor as soon as we walked in. Do yourself a favour and book here, it was fantastic.

You can join the coastal footpath by simply crossing the road, and the Manor is on the main road, close to the town centre. Marijke welcomed us warmly and was friendly and helpful throughout. Our room overlooked the beautifully kept garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, and tea and coffee were available in the lounge.
