Serondella Safari Lodge

We went as a family and everyone loved every minute. It’s an amazing safari lodge, with wonderful rooms, great service, and exceptional guides and trackers.

We stayed for 4 nights in April and came away feeling like we’d been with family and friends. Everything exceeded our expectations, and the place was luxurious beyond anything we could have asked for. The safari was magical and beyond words. Lorna & Tanya, thank you for such wonderful hospitality. Alfred, Jeffery, Never & Aubrey showed us animals and beautiful countryside I’d only dreamed of seeing. Arnold took care of every need and made amazing cocktails. Thuli, I won’t forget that relaxing spa day. And the kitchen staff, you knocked it out of the ballpark. The food was next level, and DK, the head chef, adapted every menu item to be gluten free without losing any flavor. His gluten free desserts were among the best I’ve had with Celiac Disease, and anyone could enjoy them without knowing they were gluten free. My wife and I chose the lodge for our honeymoon, and the whole trip was magical beyond our expectations. Our drivers and guides, Mandla and Jeffery, were warm, engaging, and knew so much about wildlife, the land, and its history. We love animals and learning, so we must have asked a thousand questions. They were always happy to answer. After four days together, it felt like we’d formed a real connection, far beyond a usual guide and guest relationship. Safari with them each day was a pleasure. The care extended across the team. Tumi, our butler and server, was kind and attentive. I have Celiac Disease, and he made sure every meal I received was completely gluten free, so I never had to worry. He kept reassuring me he had it handled, and he did. He noticed how much I liked the gluten free Danish at breakfast and made sure I got my fair share. We loved getting to know him and wish him all the best. Tanya and John were warm and welcoming, too. Coming back from a long drive to people who truly cared about our comfort meant a lot. Thank you both for thoughtfully managing our stay and making it such a positive experience. The property was meticulously maintained. Our room was always spotless, the pools were cleaned each morning, and the lodge was beautiful. Thank you, Serendolla, for a honeymoon we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. We can’t imagine having had our safari any other way.

Never, our guide, and Aubrey, our tracker, made every game drive exciting and personal. They tracked wildlife with real skill and shared their deep knowledge of the bush. Tumi greeted us warmly and made each meal feel special, and the spa team gave us wonderfully relaxing treatments after our adventures. Hosts John and Tonya welcomed us with genuine kindness, so we felt at home right away. Every member of staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. It’s clear the team takes pride in what they do and goes above and beyond. Serondella made this one of the best experiences of our lives, and we can’t wait to come back.
