The kids spent hours playing outside, and it felt heavenly. Hosts were brilliant and had every comfort covered. We’ll definitely return 💜 The cottage is beautiful, wrapped in forest and gardens, with fireplaces that make cold winter mornings cosy. From the back patio and braai there’s an incredible view over the valley. The old stone pool and waterfall are magical too.

Bredon Cottage is always a lovely place to visit, with amazing views. In summer, the pool is warm enough to swim in now that some of the trees hanging over it have been cut back. Listen out for Hogsback’s famous parrots, too. One thing I hadn’t seen mentioned in the reviews before coming: there’s no washing machine or dryer, so laundry has to be done by hand. Also, one of the rooms has noticeably less cupboard space for clothes and luggage than the other.

We’re really happy with the stay, especially at such a reasonable price, and look forward to coming again. The place was clean and well stocked, with heat everywhere, which matters a lot in winter. There are fireplaces in both the lounge and kitchen, bathroom heaters, heated towel racks, and electric blankets on the beds. What more could you ask for? :)

The cottage was so charming, tidy, and clean, with impeccable attention to detail. Rob and Sandy were perfect hosts, such friendly people. It felt like home, and this is my favourite accommodation from any holiday ever. We’ll definitely be back! 🙌👏😀

A lovely welcome with treats from the hosts, and plenty of heating for winter. The cottage is beautiful and has a wonderful view.
