We came away feeling well rested after seven days at Heavens Above cottage. It's huge and stunning, with a spectacular view, and felt wonderfully romantic, like a honeymoon suite. The cottage was comfortable, with a very comfortable king-size bed and bedding, a spacious lounge and an extra dining table. We could have friends join us at The Edge, and there was a large deck plus a separate covered braai room for rainy weather. There's also another bath and shower right on the edge. Highly recommend it.

Apple tree cottage at The Edge is one of their self-catering garden cottages, set in a beautiful garden and equipped for a comfortable stay. The reception and restaurant staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. They were incredibly accommodating, even fitting me in for an unplanned late-night booking after my accommodation at another venue fell through. I also really enjoyed the restaurant's food, drinks and cake. I'd happily stay at The Edge again.

The view was incredible, and our stay at FireFly was unforgettable. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed comfortable, and Wi-Fi worked great. We visited in March, when days were hot and nights cooled off. The deck has no shade, so it gets hot in the midday sun. The walking trails were pleasant and well maintained. Go horseback riding, and take a 4x4 tour with Cameron at HogTow & Tour. The restaurant staff were friendly, but the food was only fair and definitely not a highlight. Next time we'd book Cliffside or Over the edge.
