Jogging nearby feels safe, and there are plenty of hills. Around the resort, though, be ready for lots of steps everywhere, including to the rooms, pool, entertainment and braai area, and trampoline. The walk down to the beach is steep, and there are no toilets or other amenities there. Illovo Beach Club, one of The Holiday Club's resorts, is clean and well kept, with maintained grounds and a clean pool. Warner Beach (Baggies Café) is the closest beach to drive to. Remember to bring your own toilet paper!

The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were clean and well kept. It’s a lovely place, with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach and a short walk down to the beach.

December is our favourite time to be here. Our family has been coming to Ilovo for 30 years, and we’ve loved watching the resort get better over the years. We also love the upgrades The Beekman Group has made.
