The doors were a major problem. One was broken and we had to wedge something behind it to keep it shut, while other room doors had no locks. The shower area is tiny, and water spread across the tiles, making them dangerously slippery. We nearly fell several times. There wasn't a mop until we asked for one. The community pool was dirty on two of the three days we stayed, and there were wasps, ants and bees around. The kitchen had so few utensils that we brought most of ours from home. Wi-Fi was absolutely pathetic. We booked two apartments. The air conditioning worked perfectly in one, but not in the other, and not all the fans worked either. The freezer wasn't working when we needed to store things, though the kind, friendly receptionist lent us a mini freezer from her office. One TV had no HDMI port, and neither apartment had a smart TV. We brought our PS5 to use Netflix and other apps, but could only connect it to the TV that had an HDMI port. With so many problems, it definitely wasn't worth the price.

We had a great stay. The place was clean, tidy and really spacious, and the staff were friendly. Whenever we made a request, it was handled quickly and efficiently.

The Wi-Fi and shower were the only good parts for us. The pools were dirty, and the rooms were filthy. Inside the cupboards were stains, the fridge was unkempt, and we found two cockroaches in our unit. During our six-day stay, the cleaning staff came just once. There weren't enough towels for a unit that sleeps four, and we were charged an extra R200 for more. The safe was manual, not digital, and we couldn't open it. Kitchen utensils were scarce, and I had to wash the grater before using it because it was so dirty. In the room without air conditioning, the fan only worked when the light switch was on, despite how hot and humid the place was. We moved to another room and were met with a strong smell. The ceiling had marks, the mirror was dirty, and the amenities and furniture were old and outdated. Management needs to do better with maintenance and cleanliness. We were truly appalled, and it wasn't worth a penny.

The unit we booked didn't look like the one shown on the website. Staff were unfriendly, the internet was slow, and loud music was playing on a Sunday. There wasn't much kitchen equipment, and the towels were dirty. Worst place ever. You won't see me again.
