I only booked one night because the location worked for an event, and I regret it. The room looked clean but smelled bad, and opening the windows didn’t help. There were no amenities, not even hand soap, and the single towel was worn out and used to be white. The pillows smelled unwashed, so I couldn’t sleep on them. I kept all my clothes on so my skin wouldn’t touch the bedding. Noise was a problem too. The staff were friendly enough, but this place isn’t worth the risk to your mental or physical health.

It looked so neat until we got under the blankets. The sheets clearly hadn’t been changed, and I felt itchy all night. When I opened the duvet, I was shocked to find long, straight hair, even though I don’t have hair, and small dark bits of dirt that might have been soil or something else. The pillowcases also looked used and unchanged. Sleeping in bedding that had clearly been used was awful. My previous review was removed.

I had a good stay for two nights overall, and the room was still neat and well presented. But it hadn’t been cleaned properly before I checked in, and there was no cleaning during our stay, so the beds weren’t made and the floors and bathroom were dirty. The bedding could have been cleaner too, and the towels were torn and clearly very used. There’s a CBD shop in the building that brings in some questionable foot traffic, though you can just ignore it. Best for short stays.

The rooms are comfortable and good, but the price goes up once you arrive. It’s advertised as R500 for one person, then becomes R600 for the same room when you walk onto the property.
