The dogs were lovely company, and I felt very safe and secure during my nearly three-month stay. The place had everything I needed for self-catering, and the price was great. They cleaned twice a week and did my laundry for R50 a load. Everyone was helpful and willing to assist where they could. It’s been my best experience since moving in. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Alberton for the past couple of months. Highly recommend it to anyone who needs accommodation here. 10 stars.

The garden felt like something out of a fairy tale, with statues, a concrete bench and a little bridge leading to our room. I booked the studio, which was neat and modern. Jon Daniel was a very accommodating host and made sure we were comfortable. I’d definitely book here again.

The gardens are lovely, and there’s a sparkling pool available. JD was a wonderful host. The room was spacious, quiet, private and safe, as well as clean and comfortable. I also appreciated the little kitchenette with its fridge and microwave, plus the tea, coffee and milk. I’d highly recommend staying at Joy on Joyce.

They really went out of their way to make room for us. The people were great, the accommodation had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable there. Good value too. I’d be happy to stay again.

Everything in the room was in good shape, and the place was clean, beautiful and felt safe. The mattress in room 1 could use an upgrade, though. I’d definitely return.
