The card machine kept declining our cards, so we waited at reception for an hour before the receptionist came up with another way to pay. We only got our room around 2am, then were told to check out by 10am, with no excuse.

The place was so bad I wouldn't want to return. The blankets smelled, the bed was old and uncomfortable, and there were coffee utensils but no sugar in the room. They clearly know nothing about cleanliness. We just took lemons and made lemonade.

I enjoyed my time there. The staff were friendly and explained the lodge's services before I paid, making sure I was comfortable. Rooms come with a basic TV, toiletries, and hot water, and there's a swimming pool. There are about eight rooms, and last-minute bookings are accepted if there's availability. You can also book through the website. My disappointment was the limited number of parking bays inside the yard.

The staff were friendly, but the beds were uncomfortable and we didn't enjoy the stay. We had to check out earlier than we should have. The rooms weren't cleaned and the bedding wasn't changed. A lot needs to be done, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Horrible experience. I don't trust this place with bookings. They seem more focused on money than on client satisfaction. Don't use it.
