For almost 2000 bucks, this felt like a raw deal. Breakfast was dry and unappetising, and there was no WiFi in the room. The apartment felt more like a boys' hostel than a hotel, and the rooms need a complete revamp. We’d booked ahead, so the staff could at least have made sure the rooms were warm and ready when we arrived. Instead, the rooms felt unwelcoming, the old thin blankets didn’t help, and the heater couldn’t warm the room. Negative one from me.

The rooms were clean, but we spent most of the day without electricity and the WiFi was poor. I stayed for 2 weeks with no internet connection, even though they said the WiFi would be fixed soon. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a longer stay.

The gardens and outside buildings are tidy and well cared for, and the price is fair. Still, I won’t stay again. There was a lot of noise at night and plenty of unwanted activity going on. Inside, the furniture is dated and in bad shape, with broken tiles that could cut you and dangerous electrical connections. The place is clean, but these things need attention.

We didn’t feel welcome at all, and the hospitality was poor. We even got threatened with being thrown out for supposedly being “too loud,” though we weren’t playing music or shouting. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, seeming disgusted to see us. They nearly turned us away over our age, even though we were over 18 and there was no age restriction mentioned. The basin taps didn’t work, and breakfast wasn’t even standard. Load shedding affected one half of the building, and all we got from the receptionist was 3 small, used candles. I’ve never been treated like I hadn’t paid. I’ll never stay at a 3 star accommodation again. Never again.

The place was so dull, and the staff were damn rude. The ladies were also very flirty with our men. I don’t know if the slim woman wearing glasses is the owner or what, but she has a very cold heart. I’ll never book here again.
