Thank you for such a great stay. The garden was breathtaking, both during the day and at night, and the mornings were so peaceful. We stayed in studio 1, one of the beautiful studios, which had everything needed for either a short or long stay. Temba, who cleans the studios, was really friendly and helpful. Knysna Heads, Leisure Isle, the waterfront, and Thesen Island, where the Harbor town is, are all less than a ten minute drive away.

The garden and pool were pristine, and we loved the scenery. It’s a very safe area, close to the private hospital and lots of restaurants. Our suite was just right for two adults and an infant, with everything we needed: luxury bedding, a well equipped kitchen with a microwave, coffee machine, toaster and hot plate, plus electric blankets and heaters. There was also a patio with a Weber, firewood and fire lighters. We had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend Armadillo Studios Guesthouse.

I felt right at home here, thanks to the friendly staff, and the gardens were a real pleasure to relax in. The room was thoughtfully arranged and had more than I needed. I’d recommend this accommodation to anyone. Thank you for such a wonderful place!

Summer evenings on the terrace, looking across the stunning grounds, were the highlight for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and our unit had everything we needed. There was a small water issue on Christmas Day, but it was handled really well. Highly recommended.

The little touches made this a 10 out of 10 for me, especially the Nespresso machine and the small milk provided. The local staff were super friendly and happy to help. It’s an easy walk to the Waterfront, the internet worked well, and the check in information sent ahead was useful. The owners are from Switzerland, and the place is well run with everything you’d want in guest accommodation. One thing to know: there’s no window in the bathroom, so you’ll need to run the extractor for a while. If we’re back in Knysna, I’d definitely try to stay here again. Give it a go, you won’t regret it.
