The location was good and everything else was fine, but I was disappointed by how small and cramped the unit at Froggy pond was. We stayed three nights, and it really didn’t suit four adults. I’d been looking forward to the visit, so that was a letdown.

A quiet spot to unwind and recharge. We’re two days into our stay at Forest Edge and really enjoying it. The cottages are comfortable, nicely set up, and tucked away enough to give you privacy. Highly recommend.

I was given two nights here with a friend for my birthday, and we had a lovely time wandering around the property, seeing the meditation circle and visiting the donkey. They had our fire lit for us, which was a nice bonus. The new owners, Ashley and Neil, are great. They’ve already done a lot and have plenty of plans, so we wish them every success.

We made a stop here during our Celebration Road Trip and really enjoyed it. Such a peaceful place, and the new owners Neil and Ashley are lovely, as are the staff we met.

We meant to stay four days, then came back for seven more. The rooms are well appointed, and it’s a lovely, quiet place to relax right at the edge of the forest. We spotted the Knysna Loerie on most days, along with lots of other birds and baboons. Thanks, Danie and Amanda, for making us feel so welcome.
