Even though we were there for just one day, we had an amazing time at Komati River Chalets. The staff were so friendly, the chef deserves five stars, and the prices were great. Thanks for having space for us. We loved every moment.

We had a great two-night stay in a clean chalet with everything we needed for self-catering and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was cooked to order and tasty. Seeing hippos visit in the evening and at night was very exciting. One grown hippo made clear that hippos are strictly vegetarian, and we stayed calm and believed him.

We really enjoyed staying here before heading into Moz, and we’ll be back. The self-catering chalets are large, clean, and well equipped, with AC and backup power. The on-site restaurant is handy, and Komatipoort town is close by for last-minute shopping. It’s also near the border.
