Rocky Aloe Lodge

The thoughtful little touches really warmed us, like fresh coffee and hot chocolate in the morning and late afternoon. Breakfast on our first morning was superb and beautifully presented. Elize was lovely, and her staff were very helpful. We spent the long weekend with family in a self catering unit that had everything we needed, plus a beach boma and Braai area we enjoyed. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the well-kept garden was lovely for a morning or evening walk. The decor was clean and pleasing, inside and out. We’ll definitely return and tell everyone we know.

We loved our three nights there. Amazing stay, and we’ll be back.

The cottages are thoughtfully designed and feel homey as soon as you step inside. There’s a beautiful, relaxing view over the game reserve, and the woman running the place really knows her stuff. She also makes an incredible breakfast. We’ve stayed at quite a few places in the area, and this one stands out. We’ll definitely come back.

Chantelle treated us like royalty, even bringing coffee to our bed every morning. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the grounds are so well cared for that you could happily spend the whole day there. A lovely place for a break.
