Lydenburg Guesthouse

My dad said he’d definitely recommend the place. He liked the room, and there was coffee and tea available, with the bathroom in the room. A big thank you to Tom for answering the call almost at midnight and opening up for my dad at nearly 1 in the morning.

Breakfast was delicious, and we’ll definitely stay here again. The hosts made us feel welcome, and the service was awesome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Six stars still wouldn’t be enough! The place was quiet at night and very clean and neat. The owner was a great host and made a lovely takeaway breakfast. Her attention to detail and decor were excellent.

It felt like a home away from home, with a warm welcome and care that stayed consistent throughout our visit. Terry and her team cleaned and refreshed our spacious rooms each day, and there were extra blankets for the cold winter nights. The white linen was lovely. At Lydenburg Guesthouse, Terry and her husband provided dinner, bed, and breakfast. We had early starts, so breakfast was ready as early as 6am, and Terry could prepare a packed breakfast if we needed to leave even earlier. Breakfast varied each day. They were also prepared for load shedding with a generator.
