We hardly spent any time in the cabin because it felt so creepy, and we couldn’t wait to leave. The room was stuffy and uncomfortable, with a strange smell. The shower was tiny and had no curtain, so water ran straight onto the wooden floor. Honestly, those cabins need a major revamp. We also weren’t aware we’d be put in one, since the online photos don’t show them. A housekeeper told me she couldn’t do room service because it was raining 😳. The receptionist was helpful, but booking should clearly show these cabin rooms and say that they’re low standard, uncomfortable, and have a leaking shower.

Being moved to another room helped; it was much nicer, cleaner, and had fresh linen. But my first impression was awful. The first room smelled like a room that had been slept in with the windows shut. I wondered if I was being too sensitive and tried spraying the bathroom air freshener. Then I noticed the bed linen and pillows smelled as if someone had slept there and they hadn’t been changed. I went straight to reception and asked for fresh linen and pillows, but was told there were no spares. First impressions matter, and that experience put me off. I don’t think I’ll go back or recommend it to friends.

My baby and I had the best time. We checked in on Friday, and the staff welcomed us so warmly and were incredibly friendly 🥰❤️. We really enjoyed our stay in room 7.

The pool and the braai area beside it are beautiful. I just wish someone would keep the other guests’ noise down, especially with speakers playing by the pool late into the night.
