The Red Room upstairs was very comfortable, with lovely morning views over the town and church steeple. My husband enjoyed the plunge pool in the part of the garden we had to ourselves. Sally, the very friendly owner, welcomed us, with help from her right hand man Crispin, who lives at the back by a very productive vegetable garden. We liked the spacious, welcoming lounge and dining rooms. The huge kitchen has loads of cupboards and drawers, more than enough space for weeks' worth of groceries, though it’s a little dark and mostly needs artificial light. The town has excellent restaurants, so we barely used the kitchen. It’s well placed for a relaxing stroll around the neighbourhood or a walk down to the main street for the Saturday Market, No. 51 Coffee Shop or the inspirational Temenos. I can confidently recommend the Red Room. Best wishes, Marjorie.
