The unit is well kept, clean, and equipped with what you need for self-catering. Parking is safe. Just be aware that the route from the parking area is uneven, which isn’t great for older people with walking difficulties. Some steps are quite high and there are no handrails.

It felt like a proper retreat, with a lovely secluded garden where you can relax. The place was spotless, and the attention to detail was so good. There’s also a fascinating historical connection, and everything needed for a stay was provided, with extras too. Thank you, Wendy! We’ll be back.

A cosy little place, quiet and out of town. The people were friendly and helped when we needed it. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.
