Montagu 4 Seasons

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed, including thoughtful extras you don’t usually find. It’s a lovely, quiet setting right in the middle of town. We sat in the garden watching and listening to the birds. I can definitely recommend it.

We’ve visited Montagu a few times before, but never really to relax. This time we found a peaceful, captivating place to unwind, with enjoyable places to eat that were both delicious and within budget. The Info bureau offered a wide variety of options, which helped us choose. Carina, the owner, and her staff gave us wonderful service, and the accommodation was a delightful gem. We’d gone on a much-needed break and picked the location and place to stay at random, but a reference came at just the right time. It checked all the boxes for what we wanted to have and do. We’ll definitely visit again.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and loved every minute. The friendly owner and staff made the stay amazing, and it’s close to everything you might want. There are great facilities and lots of restaurants nearby. I’d give it more than five stars if I could, and would recommend it without hesitation.

Carina was so helpful with advice and assistance, and the place is right in the town centre where we felt safe. We were a group of women staying for a lovely long weekend, and the accommodation was much better than we expected. Most of what we needed was provided. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, especially the shower, which is often an issue at other places. The bed linen was fresh and crisp. We’ll definitely stay again. The pool not being heated was disappointing, though, and we hope it’s working next time we visit Montagu.
